Apparently Mr Dieckman was ask a question about The shafts that he uses on his personnel cues this is what he had to say. This is my own personal playing stock of which there now remains 23 pieces. I will sell 12 of these pieces only, in weight matched sets of TWO: $450 for each set, includes shipping. These pieces are 30 1/2" to 32 inches plus long. They have been treated with Nelsonite, very, very straight grained 95% of entire length, exhibiting 15 to over 30 years of growth in each piece. Generally whitish, but some with, a multitude [1000's] of pin point sized birds eyes in the Maple. When ever i make myself a shaft this is the wood i have been pulling down ever since i found these boards in 1987. If i keep eleven pieces of this stuff, that should last me for the rest of my life so i have decided to sell the rest !!!! This is stuff you use on your own cue, not a customers. Allen Gilbert and Harvey Martin have told me about The Bird and these shafts are IT, I KNOW, cause that is all i have been playing with for the last 15 years. |
